Paralympic gold medallist Carol Cooke AM led a team of neurologists and mechanics to design a bike that mirrors the unpredictable and debilitating symptoms of multiple sclerosis - the bike sways, gears slip, and riders experience pins and needles in their hands. The initiative raised public awareness, giving people a better understanding of what it feels like to live with MS. It then competed and failed in cycling events, and replicas were made with all funds raised being donated to the charity.
